Here are the official rules for Junction 2024. To be eligible for prizes, including the 20 000 € main prize pool, you must follow these rules:

• No code written before the event.
• Allowed team size is 1 – 5.
• You must participate in at least one challenge.
• The project submission must contain a pitch video, maximum 2 minutes long.
• You must submit a link to your source. All code outside of open source libraries must be written at the event. If you use any code written specifically for this idea in advance, or work on a new project that is somehow related to an already existing company, you will be disqualified. You can choose whether or not this link is public, but organizers must be able to access your source code.

Who has ownership of the content created in Junction?

All work created by participants is owned solely by the participants and their teams. However, for a few specific challenges, the partner may retain ownership of the projects developed for those particular challenges. In such cases, this will be clearly outlined in the challenge descriptions. Also, a thing to acknowledge is that the partner APIs and other material used is subject to the partner terms. Please consult legal advisors in case you need help with more detailed questions.

How can I delete or modify my information after the event?

Information can be found in the Privacy Policy. You have accepted the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy when applying to Junction 2024.
