The team size can be 1-5 people

If you’d like to start looking for a team before the event (which we strongly recommend), we have a team-building tool on Junction Platform and a team-building channel in Discord.

Here’s how it works:

Junction Platform: Team building

All team-related actions are happening on the Junction Platform. Open the Junction 2024 event on your profile’s dashboard and click the “Team” tab from the left bar.

  1. If you already have a team:

Head to the Junction 2024 event on your profile’s dashboard in Junction Platform and open the “Team” tab from the left bar. In case one of your team members has already created a team on Junction Platform, join it with a team code that your team member can send to you. In case you're the first one, you can create the team and share the code with your team members.

  1. If you don't have a team or you are lacking team members:

Use Team Management to find a team or post open positions for your team there. Send either an open application or apply to a specific role by clicking the apply button. You can accept or decline applications in the “team candidates” tab.

Discord: Team Building channel

  1. Join the #teambuilding channel.
  2. Check the previous posts and see if someone’s already looking for a team member with your skill set. Contact them asking to join.
  3. If you can’t find a suitable team to join, you can post a short introduction about yourself, your skills, and what challenges you are interested in.
  4. See someone who looks like a great match? Reach out to them and see if you would be a good team!
  5. Once you find a team delete your message from the channel
  6. Form a team in the Junction Platform

Team building at the beginning of the event

Arriving at the event without a team? Don’t worry because we will also have team building at the venue on Friday after the Opening Ceremony

We recommend you think about the following aspects beforehand since they can help you find the right team:
